However rights to South AfricaвЂ™s Sakuradite mines became a hotly disputed issue straining the already deep rooted diplomatic tensions between the two sides. The young Kingdom had held fast to its neutrality during the tri-polar Cold War between the United States, Communist Europe, and Britannia.
